RELEASE AND WAIVER
By attending classes, events, workshops, and other activities ("Classes"), using City Alps studio premises, facilities, and equipment ("Facilities"), joining the City Alps Running Club ("Running Club"), or participating in any City Alps-organised events outside our premises ("Outdoor Activities"), you acknowledge - for yourself and on behalf of your heirs, personal representatives, and assigns - the inherent risks and dangers associated with physical activity. These include, but are not limited to: heart attacks, muscle injuries, broken bones, heat exhaustion, injuries to joints or extremities, paralysis, and death.
You voluntarily assume all risks related to your participation and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless City Alps, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability related to such participation. You confirm that (a) you are medically and physically fit to engage in these activities, and (b) no medical professional has advised you against physical exercise.

We reserve the right to refuse access or terminate your use of our Services if your conduct is inappropriate or breaches these Conditions.
Please note that instructors and Classes may change without notice.
SINGLE CREDITS
Credits are required to book Classes. You may purchase Credits in packs of three (3) via our Website. Each Credit allows access to one Class. Credit pricing is posted online and is subject to change.
- Credits are valid for 2 months unless otherwise stated.
- Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
We reserve the right to shorten validity periods in the event of lease termination, with 4 weeks' notice.
TRIAL AND SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS
The StrongNow Base Camp membership provides unlimited access for one (1) month to all StrongNow Small Group Personal Training (SGPT) sessions, as well as all other group classes offered at City Alps. This is a trial membership with no ongoing commitment beyond the initial month. The membership automatically expires at the end of the trial period unless you choose to continue with a regular StrongNow membership. No refunds or extensions are provided for unused time or missed sessions during the trial period. Trial and short-term programs are time-based, not usage-based.
Payments & Invoicing:
- Trial or short-term programs are paid as a one-off payment.
- You will receive an invoice, payable via iDEAL.
- No refunds are provided once payment is made.
If you choose to convert to a membership after your trial or program:
- You will become a monthly recurring member (MRR).
- Bank details will be required for ongoing payments.
- Membership terms, billing cycles, and notice periods will then apply.
MEMBERSHIPS (SUBSCRIPTIONS)
Subscription fees are charged monthly, and you must provide valid payment details at activation. Subscription fees may increase annually by up to 5% as of 1 February, notwithstanding your contract start date. Government-mandated changes may take effect immediately.
Subscription Types:
- Adventure Cruiser Rider: 1x per week - 8 credits every 8 weeks.
- Trailblazer Rider: 2x per week - 16 credits every 8 weeks, plus unlimited open training.
- Unlimited Odyssey Rider: Unlimited ride, strength, and open training.
- StrongNow SGPT Unlimited: Unlimited SGPT sessions plus full access to other training. 1-month minimum (trial), then 3-monthly blocks.
- StrongNow SGPT 2x per week: 8 SGPT credits every 4 weeks. Same terms as StrongNow above.
- StrongNow SGPT 1x per week: 4 SGPT credits every 4 weeks. Same terms as StrongNow above.
Pausing / Holidays:
- Memberships cannot be paused for holidays or absences shorter than one month, and a pause may only be taken up to two times per calendar year.
- A pause must run from the start of one month to the end of another month. Pauses that begin or end partway through a month are not permitted.
- Rejoining after a pause is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- You may pause with at least one full calendar month's written notice.
Cancellation:
Memberships auto-renew every 3, 4, or 12 months, depending on your membership plan. You may cancel with at least one full calendar month's written notice prior to the end of the full term. Benefits remain active during the notice period, and no refunds will be issued for unused time once a renewal occurs.
Downgrades may only be made at the end of your current full term and require at least one full calendar month's written notice prior to renewal. Any approved upgrade or downgrade will reset your membership term. Upon commencement of the new term, any unused class credits from the previous membership will be forfeited, and new credits will be issued in accordance with the selected membership plan.
PAYMENTS
All membership fees are in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of VAT (BTW).
When you join partway through a calendar month, your first payment will be a pro-rata amount covering the period from your join date up to and including the last day of that month. This is calculated as:
monthly membership fee divided by the number of days in that month, multiplied by the number of remaining days.
Your membership term officially commences on the 1st of the following month, from which point the full monthly fee applies. Any days between your join date and that 1st are treated as an addition to your committed term rather than as part of it. For example, a 4-month membership joined mid-month will run for 4 months plus those additional pro-rata days. The initial pro-rata payment is non-refundable.
Billing and Collection:
Invoices are issued approximately one week in advance of their due date. Membership invoices are dated the 1st of each month, and any outstanding invoices in the system are processed on a rolling basis every Monday. All payments, including the initial pro-rata payment, are collected by SEPA Direct Debit from the bank account you provide.
By providing your bank details, you authorise City Alps to set up a SEPA Direct Debit mandate and to collect payments due under your membership from that account. We will notify you in advance of any change to the amount or date of collection (including the annual fee increase referred to in the Memberships section). Under SEPA rules, you are entitled to a refund from your bank on an authorised direct debit up to eight (8) weeks from the date it was debited. You are responsible for keeping your bank details valid and up to date, and for ensuring sufficient funds are available on each collection date.
Providing Your Bank Details:
For Ride memberships (Adventure Cruiser, Trailblazer, Unlimited Odyssey), you enter your bank details yourself when you sign up and select a membership via the Website. For StrongNow (SGPT) memberships, which require you to qualify and apply first, you provide your bank details to us directly by email or WhatsApp, and your membership is set up on your behalf by the manager.

You may book Classes via our Website. Availability is not guaranteed, even with Credits.
Cancelling Classes:
- Cancel 2 or more hours before a class for a full Credit refund.
- Cancel less than 2 hours before a class for a refund only at our discretion.
Waitlists:
- You will automatically be notified if a spot opens more than 2 hours before the class, via email or SMS.
- Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend.
- Last-minute (under 2-hour) openings will be offered via email on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If no spot opens, your Credit will be refunded.
- If we cancel a class, your Credit will be refunded.
